Josh built our two kayaks, but the wooden kits were donated from Pygmy Boats. It was our honor to travel through the manufactures headquarters in Port Townsend, WA. The boats have exceeded our expectations: Beautiful lines, the perfect boat for our expedition.

Paddling as much as we have on this trip, you can burn 5,000 calories a day. To keep from wasting away, we have incorporated heavy calorie foods such as mayonnaise, butter, olive oil, hamburger, cheese, and half & half into our diets. After 90 days Josh has maintained his original weight and J.J. as put on 4 pounds.

Josh Thomas and J.J.
